About Jennysimmer
Welcome to my little corner of the Sims world!
I’m Jenny, and Jennysimmer is where I share everything I love about The Sims 4. Custom content, build and lot inspiration, gameplay tips, and honest thoughts on packs, mods, and everything in between. Whether you’ve been playing since the original Sims or just downloaded Sims 4 last week, I hope you’ll find something here that makes your game a little more fun.
My Mission
Jennysimmer started as a personal creative outlet and grew into a space where fellow Simmers can find genuinely useful, hand-tested content. I’m not interested in filler. Every guide, list, and review here comes from actual hours spent building, playing, and troubleshooting in-game. My goal is simple: help you build better, play smarter, and fall a little more in love with the game along the way.
What You’ll Find Here
- CC & Mod Roundups: Curated collections of the best custom content and mods for hair, furniture, clothing, and gameplay overhauls. Organized so you can actually find what you need instead of scrolling forever.
- Build & Room Inspiration: Lot tours, room design breakdowns, and building tips for creating homes that actually feel lived-in.
- Gameplay Guides: Step-by-step help with careers, aspirations, challenges (like Legacy and Decades), and the game mechanics that trip up even experienced players.
- Pack Reviews: Honest, detailed reviews of expansion, game, and stuff packs. What’s worth your money and what you can skip.
- Tips & Troubleshooting: Practical fixes for common bugs, mod conflicts, and performance issues, written in plain language.
I’m a longtime Sims player and content creator who spends far too much time rebuilding the same house five different ways before I’m happy with it. Jennysimmer is a one-woman project. Everything you read here is written, tested, and photographed by me, based on my own gameplay. I built this blog because I couldn’t find the resource I wished existed when I started out, so I decided to make it myself.
